Contributing to map creation and automation as part of the Seeding Adapter team within the Unimap Architecture.
Enhanced and resolved issues in various map features, layers including road, lanes, signs, etc. within the Map Object Model.
Played a key role in migrating batch processing jobs from our in-house platform to AWS EMR to optimize costs, improve performance and resource management.
Orchestrated the development and deployment of tailored environments to suit different product deliveries. This entailed integrating AWS Lambda for serverless computing, SQS for asynchronous messaging, schedulers for task automation, RDS instances for relational databases, VPC for network isolation and S3 for scalable storage solutions.
Implemented seamless communication between these environments and our in house WebEx space to ensure timely notification for EMR cluster runs.
Additionally, designed a Grafana dashboard to provide granular real-time monitoring of EMR activities, enhancing our ability to analyse and optimize performance.
Effectively tackled bugs and applied quick fixes, resulting in enhanced stability and operational efficiency within the existing codebase. Strengthened system reliability through bug resolution and implementation of hot fixes.
