👋 Hi there! I'm Nikhil Mishra, a final-year undergraduate student at IIT Kharagpur with a passion for all things Machine Learning, especially Deep Learning. You could say I'm on a quest to make machines a little smarter and our lives a lot easier—one algorithm at a time. 🔍 My journey so far has taken me from the cutting-edge labs at Stanford University to the vibrant research community in Canada, courtesy of the MITACS Globalink Research Internship. At Stanford, I wrangled data and fine-tuned models to predict health outcomes with the precision of a Swiss watch (well, almost—my RMSE was a respectable 11.169). In Canada, I dove deep into the world of live-cell imaging, crafting a cGAN pipeline to make cells glow (literally) under the microscope. 💼 I recently completed an incredible stint at DyotaLabs.ai, where I optimized Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems by implementing advanced chunking strategies to enhance retrieval accuracy and system performance. My work focused on efficient document segmentation, ensuring seamless and contextually sound information retrieval for superior generative outputs. Additionally, I worked on leveraging LLMs for generating high-quality outputs tailored to context-rich queries, enhancing the effectiveness of generative AI systems. 🚀 Currently, I’ve joined Spike AI as a Data Science Intern, contributing to cutting-edge projects in development of one of the finest Marketing AGI available. It’s an exciting endeavor at the intersection of innovation and AI, and I’m thrilled to be part of a team pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
