• Leading the display advertising channel/team for walmart.com - Building technical integrations, external partnerships - tech platforms and DSPs, managing funds and investments. Full end-to-end ownership of channel - vision, strategy, business management and execution.
• Started off as the first engineer in the group, built the foundational real-time + analytics data pipelines and partner integrations singlehandedly, moving on to owning the area in a GM role. Built partnerships with 15+ companies in the ecosystem (Criteo, Twitter, Google, Facebook, Triggit, etc...) to deliver the highest performance seen within WalmartLabs on a display advertising channel. PoC-ed the channel with a small budget and high efficiency paving the way to substantial investment in the channel.
• Personally managed $2M budget over the year to direct various product, business and tech investments to deliver a revenue of $200M for Walmart. Built a reputed strong team of engineers personally to deliver on this high impact mission.

• An engineer in Google's product teams.
• Global mobile news: May 2009 onwards - Technical lead for global mobile news efforts at Google. Launched redesign of mobile news for Android and iPhone browsers globally. Completely rearchitected and delivered a new high scale frontend service from scratch for Google news globally. Managed team of engineers working on news experiences for mobile phones and tablets and led a highly ambitious state of the art tablet project for elevating the News reading experience for Google's users.
• Mobile orkut: Sep 2008 - May 2009 - Technical lead of Mobile java application for orkut. Launched V1 of the J2me Orkut App in India and Brazil.
• Google Gears: Apr 2008 to Aug 2008 - Technical lead on Google Gears projects from Bangalore related to imaging and audio. Launched basic Canvas API and came up with proposal for Audio and Canvas API. These went on to lay the foundation for W3C APIs commonly found on the web today. The specific implementation was absorbed by Google Wave for its high performance web animation work.
• Youtube: August 2007 till March 2008 - Technical lead and Engineer for one of the first monetization projects related to badging copyright infringing user content and music. Launched music-buy and badging features on Youtube. Developed full stack experience delivering project across watch page, content admin and partner portal. First (and possibly only) engineer in India ever to have launched a change on the highly sensitive Youtube watch page.
• Also, a full time interviewer for software engineer positions at Google India.
