Data Observability | Log Analytics Software Suite
Built OpenSearch dashboard to filter, mutate and sample log data for ingestion using Data Prepper. Collected server-side data, filtered, enriched, transformed, and aggregated data for downstream analysis and visualization.
Built JavaScript API client to interact with OpenSearch cluster. For authentication, worked in AWS Lambda function to run the code on a high-availability compute infrastructure.
Segregated data into hot, cold, warm categories to reduce cost to the company. Hot tier data stays on the top while cold tier data gets deleted after TTL. This has reduced the cost by 30% from the observations.
