Building next-gen event-driven Fulfillment Management System to orchestrate the post-purchase lifecycle of entire Walmart.com. Handling traffic at average ~10k Opm (orders per minute)
Developed and led the Driver SplitTip initiative, ensuring that only the driver who completes the delivery can view and receive the customer tip. Previously, all involved drivers could see the tip, leading to compliance issues and payouts. This solution helped resolve driver disputes and saved Walmart ~$5.2M annually.
Led backend development for Dynamic Express on Walmart.com, enabling real-time delivery slots (e.g., 15–20 mins) instead of static 2–4 hr windows, resulting in a notable uplift in customer satisfaction and order reliability.
Designed and developed the Holds Release functionality from scratch for scheduled stress test orders, enabling automated release testing with GIF at a scale of ~7K orders per minute (OPM).
Developed and deployed an Oncall Automation Bot to streamline incident management by auto-tagging engineers, escalating unresolved issues, and generating weekly reports. Now live across Dev, Stage, and Prod , the bot has reduced manual effort and allowed engineers to focus on critical issues.
