• As a Web Developer Lead, I have responsibilities of combining technical expertise with leadership skills to drive the successful delivery of projects. I act as the bridge between the development team and management, ensuring that the technical aspects align with the project's goals and business objectives.
• My responsibilities include -
• Ensure code quality by reviewing developers’ work and enforcing coding standards.
• Provide architectural leadership, technology design expertise, and direction.
• Provide technical, strategic direction and architecture improvements to improve customer satisfaction, speed of development, cost of development, implementation, and ease of maintenance.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, finding efficient solutions and ensuring minimal disruption.
• Make decisions about the technologies, tools, and libraries to use based on project needs.
• Ensure that the web applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, frameworks, and technologies in web development to recommend improvements or incorporate new tools into the development process.
• Identifying and onboarding talent, upskilling internal engineers.
• Encourage continuous learning and skill development within the team.
• Ensure that web applications undergo proper testing (unit testing, integration testing, and functional testing) to guarantee that they meet quality standards. Coordinate efforts to identify, prioritize, and fix bugs or issues in the application.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process.
