As a Full Stack DevOps Engineer at 106 northend bspl, my role was to ensure the smooth functioning of the company's infrastructure and applications. We used various technologies such as EC2, Kubernetes, and Route53 to create a scalable and robust system.
One of my primary responsibilities was to set up and maintain the Kubernetes clusters that hosted our applications. I worked closely with the development team to deploy new services and updates. We used a continuous delivery approach, where changes were automatically deployed to staging environments for testing before being rolled out to production. This helped us to minimize downtime and ensure that our applications were always up and running.
I also managed the company's DNS using Route53. I set up domain names, SSL certificates, and configured DNS records to ensure that traffic was routed to the correct services. This helped to improve the reliability and performance of our applications.
In addition to my DevOps responsibilities, I was also involved in some frontend development projects. I used HTML, CSS, and Google Material Design to create visually appealing and responsive user interfaces. It was challenging to balance my DevOps responsibilities with frontend development, but it was also a great learning experience. I enjoyed being able to see how my work on the infrastructure side directly impacted the frontend user experience.
