Dr. Aqib Mujtaba is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Akal University Punjab, India. Before joining the Akal University he was working in the NITI Aayog. Dr. Mujtaba completed his PhD in Economics from SMVDU Jammu and PDF from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal (IISERB). He also has worked as a research analyst at the Institute of Economic Growth (IEG), New Delhi. Dr. Mujtaba is an awardee of the National Fellowship for Higher Education of ST Students and has worked as a Senior Research Fellow of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA), Government of India (GoI). He has qualified University Grant Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) in Economics. Dr. Mujtaba does research in Energy and Environmental Economics. He has published his research work in reputed international high impact factor journals. Recently, the Asia-Pacific Applied Economic Association & Bank of Indonesia awarded him honorary prizes as a token of appreciation for his publication. He is serving as a peer-reviewer of several well reputed international scientific journals.
