Worked on revamping and restructuring the Loss accounting mechanism for Debt Management for PayPal Negative Balance customers. Designed and implemented a new workflow which will help in streamlining the loss accounting mechanism for PPNB customers. This will also help in improving the customer experience from the PayPal self service while performing Add Funds.
Designed and Implemented a Critical Alerting feature for PayPal Negative Balance (PPNB) customers. This alert is a way to inform and highlight customers on their web and mobile app that they have a Negative Balance and suggests them to initiate the payment for the debt.
Designed and Implemented the Debt Repayment feature for PayPal Negative Balance (PPNB) and VENMO. This application helps PPNB/VENMO customers pay off their debt to PayPal via customer call support / IVR interaction. This feature helped PayPal gain an annualised increment in recoveries by nearly $1.7B in 2024, alongside making repayments a lot easier and increasing the rate of recoveries.
Designed and Implemented the Bankruptcy case creation and case management services which are the two pivotal services for Bankruptcy Management System. BMS is a one stop shop for all data related to bankrupt customers and helped PayPal’s collections domain keep track of all such customers who has PayPal Negative Balance accounts. BMS also improved the PayPal teammate’s performance exponentially by adding bankruptcy case tracker during their conversation with customers.
