About

I built my company a faster and a scalable RESTful API using memoization, caching, database query and memory optimization techniques. Before that, I was involved in building a full stack web application and owned the entire development life cycle from analyzing customer specs to deploying code. I have worked in two startups and I have 3 years of agile development experience. I get excited by pristine and performant code. I developed an Android application that could remotely control a Smart Drip Irrigation System prototype, that I engineered using funding from Centre For Technology Development and Transfer, and it was awarded the "Most Innovative Project" for the year 2012. I am on my way to pursuing a career in machine learning. I'm broadly interested in machine learning, social computing and systems. Specialties: Ruby, Rails, Algorithms, Performance.
