Jaya kumar — Co-Founder
As a teenager, you’d find me in my friend’s mechanic shop, sleeves rolled up and hands greasy, obsessively dismantling and rebuilding motorcycles. Those days weren’t just about speed or style—they taught me how machines breathe, how engineering marries artistry, and how a single modification could transform a rider’s experience. But as I grew older, so did my perspective. By college, my love for roaring engines collided with a pressing truth: the motorcycle industry needed a sustainable revolution. Why sacrifice performance for the planet? Why not redefine what a motorcycle could be? In 2019, I channeled this vision into Bewingz—a performance-driven, bespoke electric motorcycle brand where cutting-edge engineering meets radical personalization. We started with a bootstrapped prototype, driven by late-night CAD designs and relentless iterations. By 2021, seed funding accelerated our R&D, and today, we’re on the brink of commercializing India’s most customizable electric motorcycles. Why Bewingz? 🔧 Bespoke Design: Every bike is a canvas—tailored ergonomics, sound kits, and modular tech. 🌱 Sustainability Meets Performance: Zero emissions, but never zero soul. 🏆 Award-Winning Innovation: Recognized at SAI Mobility Conference, CII IP Awards, and more. This journey isn’t just about building bikes. It’s about rewriting the rules of mobility.
