• E5P is a plug-in component for the CMS-Lite server, which manages the E5 shelves (IPDSLAM devices) in the network. The E5P implementation consists of two major components, E5D and E5A that does the discovery and alarm management respectively. The E5D is an independent component used to auto discover deployed E5s within specified IP address range. CMS server via xml message instructs E5D. E5A is a component responsible for E5 alarm related functions.
