• Project: XRX
• RX is an industrial router which provide secure multiprotocol networking. The routers combine the capabilities of an Ethernet Switch, an Async-to-TCP/IP Terminal Server, and an IP Router in a single integrated device.
• Worked on SNMP Extended Error feature. Basic SNMP error codes supported by the protocol using Error Index and Error Status provides a high level indication of the error and is limited. SNMP extended error handling solves this restriction and make it possible to create extended, detailed error messages for the root cause of configuration failures. Designed and coded for process based architecture.
•  Worked on porting of Strongswan for IPSEC. Strongswan is an opensource stack for
• IPSec. IPSec is a security protocol which provides VPN between two hosts/network.
• Worked on stroke messaging functionality and glue layer code.
•  Worked on “Firmware upgrade over non-IP feature”: Feature is about upgradation of firmware
• from a network to another device whose IP is not known but is connected as a terminal server to an
• intermediate device. Worked on the RXnetcat tools and ACK based data transfer.
•  Worked on “Secure by default” feature: First time forced password change for different user
• interface (Web/CLI/SNMP), given box should be in a state of factory default.
•  Involved in feature enhancements. Resolving customer and field issues.
•  Working in Agile methodologies.
