• Spent the first two and a half years at Google working on making the Like.com acquisition successful by integrating various pieces of process and technology from Like.com into the Google shopping stack. This work was key to transforming the apparel shopping experience on Google Shopping from what was a largely ignored product to becoming a significant revenue driver for Google.
• Spent the next year and a half working on Search and Indexing SRE teams and learning how to build and run the largest distributed systems in the world. Responsibilities included being on-call for Google search and solving problems whenever paged for any Google search downtime anywhere in the world.
• Spent the final year in Google at Google Research working on prototypes for new TV interfaces.

• Was the engineering lead for boutiques.com which was a high end fashion website that Google acquired Like.com for. It was launched a few months after the acquisition and covered by techcrunch here: https://techcrunch.com/2010/11/17/google-boutiques/

• Built a lot of the backend distributed systems infrastructure for running various pieces of image processing technology at a large scale on all the products of Like.com
• Built the tools and the pipeline for verification of algorithm outputs by humans (something like an in-house mechanical turk). At its peak, these tools were responsible for the productivity of a couple of hundred human operators located in 5 different countries. They were also responsible for tracking their inaccuracies and catching fraud.
