Ipsita Sengupta — Product Engineer
Hi! I'm an MSc. Electrical Engineering student at the University of Stuttgart, currently working on my Master’s thesis at the Institute of Microelectronics. Alongside my studies, I work at Procter & Gamble as a working student, following a recent six-month full-time internship with the company. Some of my notable past work experiences include my role at Bosch Power Tools, where I worked in the Engineering team for Charging Electronics as a working student. I was also an engineer at the University's prestigious Formula Student Team, where I worked on low-voltage measurement system PCBs for the electric racecar. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in India, where I was honored as the top outgoing student of my batch, receiving the Institute Gold Medal for my achievements. I thrive in dynamic environments and am passionate about collaborating with motivated individuals to drive the development of innovative solutions. In addition to my engineering pursuits, I am deeply committed to social outreach initiatives. As an Active Shaper and the elected Curator (2025-26) of the Stuttgart hub in the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Community, I work alongside a group of young changemakers to tackle challenges in the Stuttgart region. During my undergraduate years in India, I dedicated four years to 'Dayatva,' a social initiative focused on providing quality education to over 200 underprivileged children in Ahmedabad. In my free time, I enjoy playing various musical instruments, practicing vocal music, and performing live music at gigs. I also have a passion for reading, blogging, and traveling.
