• 1. Production Planning & Coordination : Plan and schedule 2-stage production (Stage 1: sheet metal fabrication/assembly; Stage 2: coil installation, electricals, testing).

• Ensure that BOMs (Bill of Materials) and drawings are updated and available at each stage.
• 2. Shop Floor & Process Management
• Supervise both mechanical (e.g., casing, frame, panels) and electrical/coil installation stages of AHU production.Oversee cutting, bending, welding, painting, insulation, and final assembly.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and machinery (e.g., CNC machines, HVAC coil tools).
• 3. Team Leadership & Supervision
• Lead a team of technicians, supervisors, and operators across both stages of production.
• Ensure training and adherence to safety protocols and SOPs.

• 4. Quality Assurance : Ensure compliance with AHRI, ISO, or customer-specific quality standards.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections—including air leakage testing, airflow performance, coil pressure testing, etc.
• 5. Process Improvement : Optimize material flow between Stage 1 and Stage 2 to minimize delays and reduce WIP inventory.Implement lean manufacturing or 5S principles to increase efficiency.
• Monitor key metrics: OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), cycle times, and rejection rates.
• 6. Inventory & Material Management
• Coordinate with the stores team to ensure just-in-time delivery of raw materials (GI sheets, copper tubes, fans, motors, insulation materials, etc.).
• 7. Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Report deviations, delays, and bottlenecks to senior management.
• 8. Coordination with Design & Service Teams : Provide feedback to the design team on manufacturability and field issues.
