• Member of the Infrastructure organization. My team owns an internal Cloud Console product helping Snap engineers to manage their multi-cloud services. I worked on multiple Developer Experience projects for this product.
• 1. Enhanced load shedding usability by providing real-time estimates of effects on traffic using metrics analysis
• 2. Solved traffic congestion for around 30% of the mesh services by mirroring traffic from high traffic to low traffic cluster, ensured correct endpoint allocation to avoid congestion and improved UI experience for mirrored traffic
• 3. Created a rich search interface for the history of rolled out network changes, significantly improved incident response times since engineers can quickly correlate incident timing with network changes and affected services
• 4. Implemented suggestion engine to predict suitable circuit breaker configuration value to avoid a potential request spillover, implemented APIs to fetch weekly data values from Graphana dashboard
• 5. Responsible for conversion of an internal Cloud Console from being only Service Mesh oriented to become a central Single Pane of Glass platform for other internal products.
• Designed and prototyped initial integration with an internal DynamoDB management system. As a result,
• DynamoDB tables creation and management transitioned from a manual ticket-based process to a fully self-serve
• solution integrated with a central Cloud Console. DynamoDB table creation now takes 15 min vs 7 days before,
• the team gets 40% less support tickets due to this automation.
