When picking up empirical research and applying it at work, leaders in the East are often left to try and tailor it with their best judgement and hope for the best. That is where I come in! I study the cultural nuances, unique challenges, and opportunities for promoting diversity and inclusion in the East. It goes beyond social justice and equity, its also a business imperative. With more people working remotely, teams spanning across national boundaries and global crises that directly impact people's morale - I am invested in empirically finding out the ways that organisations can optimise their workforce diversity to their benefit while making ALL their employees feel appreciated and included. On other days, I enjoy a cutthroat game of pool, deadly deadlifts, drinking iced-coffee and debates.
