I am a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the Google Maps team. Previously, I worked at Flipkart as a Senior Data Scientist, where I helped develop pre-trained and fine-tuned large language models (LLMs) for e-commerce NLP-related generative AI use cases. Before Flipkart, I was a Data Scientist at Amazon India, leading projects in Compliance Operations, Workplace Health and Safety, and Customer Behaviour Analytics. I am also pursuing a Ph.D. in Natural Language Processing (NLP) from IIT Kanpur. Before joining Amazon, I worked at IBM Corporate Headquarters, focusing on extracting NLP insights from engagement data in HR. Prior to that, I was a Research Software Engineer at IBM Research in Delhi, where I contributed to the award-winning IBM Watson Recruitment project.
