• Exploited specificity and multi-functionality of Hepatitis A Protease.
• Used this enzyme to improve digestion in humans by cloning it in commercially viable bacteria.
• Modified the standard processes and eliminated downstream processing saving around 25000 dollars in R&D, and reducing the cost of the product by 60%.
• These modified bacterial strains are directly usable by several probiotic milk manufacturers.

• Worked towards developing a broad spectrum vaccine against alphavirus
• Predicted structure and inhibitor binding sites of CHIKV.
• Docked on multiple bioinformatics softwares like Sanjeevini and I-Tasser.
• Tested binding of multiple inhibitors on these sites invivo.
• Also checked for toxicity of these inhibitors in lower organisms

We prepared the device at 20% of market cost without compromising on the accuracy and aesthetics.We presented our magnetic stirrer at Open House, IIT Delhi which is a platform where IIT showcases its technological breakthroughs to the world.
• I was also responsible for the overall management of Biochemical Engineering Department for this event.

• Expandable to viral infections’ diagnosis.

• Tankyrase 2 (TNKS2) is a gene that is found to be over expressed in several cancers such as Glioblastoma, colorectal and ovarian cancer.
• Cloned miRNA sites specific to TNKS2 in a plasmid vector, overexpressed it and then co-transfected it along with microRNA in brain tumor cell lines.
• Monitored the activity of a biomarker to quantify the binding between MicroRNA and TNKS 2.
• Useful in chemotherapy for glioblastoma patients.
