About

Being a catalyst in people’s journey from point A to B, providing resources and helping them in every way possible makes me happy. Helping someone get closer to their goals, personal or career ones, gives me joy. And I was lucky that I was been able to connect the dots and understand the pattern in everything that gives me a kick. 🏫 Throughout my school and early college days, I used to finish my homework in school itself and also be there in the examination hall hours before the reporting time. I passed on my homework to my classmates so that they could work and submit theirs on time, and sit outside in a group to explain theorems and chemical reactions to my friends, helping them prepare for the exam. 🎯 Started up when I was in the last semester of my college. As a writer, I never found a collaborative platform where artists from various fields could come together, discuss creative ideas and work towards their passion. So went ahead and built a platform for artists, which eventually became a community of 20,000+ artists across India. The joy of helping people by providing them freelance projects, stage to perform and support from fellow creators cannot be put in words. 📈 In 2020, I exited my role and worked for the gig economy to help people get access to meaningful employment. The number of active freelancers who worked with us grew 4x within a few months. I got a chance to lead the sourcing vertical while working with the Co-Founder of the company. Again, the sheer happiness of helping people support their families, fund their education and become independent is incomparable. 🚀 At GrowthX, I work closely with Operators to help them build a fulfilling career & Founders to build strong teams with the top growth, product and marketing talent in the country.   • As an artist, the struggle to find a collaborative space to discuss, create and build a career in art led us to build Platform For Artists. We were 20,000+ artists strong in just 3 years of starting the community.
  • For artists to learn, earn and grow, we hosted 200+ offline and online events, which included art exhibitions, concerts, book launches, flea markets, panel discussions across 15+ cities for artists to come together, showcase their art and sell their work. The average income of artists from the community doubled with the freelance opportunities they could get via us.
  • During the peak pandemic, when the offline world and a major source of income for artists came to a standstill, we managed 50+ artists and helped organisations like CRED partner with the talented community for conducting creative workshops/ sessions. Resulting in artists getting back to their monthly earnings pre-pandemic in just three months.
  • Worked with the Government of Maharashtra on projects to educate the population from rural areas through the medium of art.
  • Partnered and collaborated with 20+ organisations/ communities to provide projects and performing opportunities for the creators in India.
  • Got featured in Times of India, Hindustan Times, Mint, The Quint, The Hindu and spoke at TEDx in 2019.
  • Exited to optimise for experiences outside the creator industry, work with Founders and build growth muscle.
