Gamma - A product that receives data from Nissan cars, processes, optimizes, and encrypts it and forwards to different consumers. Contributed mainly towards the last phase where data had to be zipped and encrypted and passed on to the consumers. Developed a reusable component from scratch to implement Open PGP encryption using Bouncy Castle library in Spring Boot and integrated this component in Gamma and many other projects. Technologies worked on here are Spring Boot, Hibernate, JUnit and various AWS services.
Notification Gateway - Designed and developed a reusable notification gateway from scratch that makes it very easy to send different types of notifications, including notifications to Nissan cars. Created a REST API that receives the notification message template. Integrated this with SNS of AWS to fan-out and filter the notification based on the type of notification. Integrated it with SQS of AWS to implement queuing. Created an Angular dashboard for creating new notification templates and handling failed messages. Created a simple Android app to demo push notifications on Android devices. Also, wrote a medium article on it and helped different Nissan teams integrate it into their products. Technologies worked on here are Spring Boot, Hibernate, JUnit, AWS, Angular, Postgres, and Android Studio.
