A self-taught Software Engineering Leader with core experience in building low-latency and highly scalable software applications. As an engineer, my passion lies in bringing a net positive change to the world by using software creatively. Additionally, I love mentoring other engineers by helping them expand their horizons and develop themselves to create a wider impact on society. I am passionate about learning new technologies and (generally) curious about trying various domains of development (Backend, DevOps, Frontend, Management, etc.). To keep my curious mind busy, I generally throw myself into unknown domains and learn about them (Distributed Systems, Graph Databases, Networking, Cryptography?). I guess I used to be an electrical engineer, but that part in me is probably busy watching James Webb Space Telescope taking surreal images of the universe.

Developed a Java-based solution for quick transaction retrieval from a petabyte dataset in HBase using Spark and Splice Machine for increasing the efficiency of an already existing system by 9x and scale horizontally. The solution played a crucial role in expansion of Visa Resolve Online (VROL) to Visa Claims Resolution (VCR).
Created and deployed several monitoring and data integrity utilities which increased the overall data quality of the system.
Developed an API platform for the entire visa team to utilise the power of transactional data using Spring MVC.
Enabled encryption of PII data using a home-grown algorithmic solution, enforcing safer encryptions and stability.
