• As a part of the B2B team, worked on 'Mint' - a GST compliant invoicing solution which helped in solving the problem of generation, communication and record-keeping of invoices for corporates and hotels. Built grounds up from scratch, the product simplified the generation and auditing of invoices and stay-summaries thereby reducing manual intervention substantially and bringing down Day Sales Outstanding from 90 days to 30 days. (Django + Postgres + RMQ)
• Built 'Mercury' - a mobile website to enable the Sales team to search for hotels and make corporate bookings thereby reducing turn-around-time and reducing data accuracy issues substantially and contributing about ~35% of the overall B2B business (React+Redux)
• Worked in a team of 4 developers to create a complete hotel search and booking portal for Treebo's corporate clients (a new business line) from scratch. My primary responsibilities involved conceptualising and implementing the database schema design for the entire project, auth service, notification service and booking service. Dabbled briefly with front-end code too. (React/Redux + Python/Flask)
• Built and shipped Treebo Hero - a mobile app for local sales agent to book Treebo hotels for their clients. Primarily involved in building the backend for the app (Flask)
• Independently built and scaled Treebo Venues - an online catalogue for discovering event-hosting venues in Treebo hotels
• Built a host of other additional solutions like an invoice-self serve portal, demand dispersion hack to generate additional bookings for hotels etc

• Broadly, I worked on the following :
• Search : Built a comprehensive framework for carrying out search and relevance experiments on house listings such as trying out new ranking algorithms on a subset of site-wide traffic and measuring their impact on a traffic of about ~3.5 million search requests a month. Also created a mechanism for searching/sorting semantically duplicate homes as a group using aggregations in Elasticsearch. And free text search - beta feature, you can find a small little link at the bottom of the homepage.
• Homepage Offers : Wide range of offers for the inventory on the website, creating their eligibility criteria and putting together validations for the same. Deals and coupons for area managers.
• Holidays and Leave Management for NestAway Area Managers : Conceptualized and built both the front-end and back-end components.
• House Recommendations : Similar listings on the house details page showing a list of relevant recommendations.
• Popular Localities : List of popular localities dynamically generated on the basis of search-volume for assisting new users in the discovery process
• Partners' App Features : Built several features for the app used by Area Managers to manage their daily schedules like checkin during house visit, location lock for houses etc.

• As a part of the payments team, worked on automating the process of initiating and handling netbanking refunds for failed orders.
• Worked on building "trends" for Solr-based autosuggest. Suggestions are now provided based on the recent search trends which has led to an improvement in the click-depth of relevant search terms and making the search and discovery of products on the Myntra app faster.
• Developed the "Did you mean?" feature based on a combination of Qwerty based spell correction and phonetic spell correction algorithms.

Hence, got the chance to explore and tweak Python libraries such as gensim, mallet, vowpal-wabbit etc for this purpose.
