Hello, I am Disha Agarwal. I am pursuing Computer Science and I'm in my pre-final year of B.Tech at IIIT Raichur. Throughout the three years of my college, I have learned many skills including technical as well as soft skills. I have a huge interest in the machine-learning domain to form an entire pipeline, from data preprocessing and feature engineering to model development and deployment. I am interested in learning skills that are directly relevant to the industry standards like building web apps in angular or react, deploying models and applications to the cloud (AWS, GCP), integrating Language models to real websites, using Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka for scalability, etc. Recently I am very interested in Generative AI and LLMs. How these models work in the backend and how we can improve these models and how to use these models in any application. Special mentions: 1) I have completed the "AWS Cloud Practitioner" course from the "GeekForGeeks" platform. 2) Last semester, I built a project that uses OpenAI and other open-source Large Language models to generate a short story based on a given phrase. Also, I worked on a research paper that compared the results of different models. 3) I qualified Gate CS-2024 with a score of 654. 4) I was the Coordinator for the CodeSoc club at IIIT Raichur and I am proud to say that under my leadership many successful events were organized in my college. 5) I am now a member of the TnP cell at IIIT Raichur. I plan to commit myself to the better placement future of students of IIIT Raichur.
