• Density was India's first futures focused cryptocurrency trading exchange with a focus on pro traders, we scaled to over 10,000 traders, managing a trading volume exceeding $500 million. We raised around 4.5mn usd but had to shutdown due to investor backouts
• Owned most of the trading logic including the orderbook, orderform and positions. Built all forms of sophisticated order types including OTOCO, OCO, TP, SL, Isolated, Cross. Built cross margin functionality for upto 35 parallel trade positions in react native handling perfomance bottlenecks and re-renders.
• Contributed as the early hire member of the founding team, establishing the core architecture of the React Native app and React web app following Atomic design principles and a structured business logic and API service layer.
• Spearheaded the migration of JavaScript-based websocket class to native modules for socket management in the native language, resulting in a 30% improvement in rendering performance.
• Developed scalable wrappers for services like deep linking, event logging, and push notification integration with multiple analytics platforms including Clevertap, Posthog, and Branch.
• Designed and maintained business logic for critical scenarios such as order placement and validation, processing over 4 million orders on the exchange, and real-time position status updates like PnL for multiple positions, implementing cross-margin management. Authored test cases with 90% coverage using Jest and Mocha.
