I love to tackle challenging problems using code, whether its in a language I already have proficiency in (Python, C, C#, Java) or using a new technology where I have to learn as I build a solution. I have been working at AWS CloudFront for the past 5 years, building new features to scale for an ever-growing customer base and improving the experience for existing customers. During this time, I played a leading role in building a system that enabled granular progress tracking for customer CDN configuration changes, improving transparency and customer experience. I also designed and implemented an enhancement to streamline how change propagation was handled in degraded network conditions, reducing blast radius and minimizing service disruptions. I have also built solutions to improve the security of our internal systems, upgrading service endpoints to meet modern encryption standards, improving compliance and reducing security risk, and migrated backend components to a more robust internal logging system, enhancing operational stability and reducing long-term tech debt. Prior to working full-time here, I interned at Amazon, where I built a solution to make CloudFront, Amazon's CDN service, an easy to install service for WordPress users. I completed my graduate degree in Computer Science from UT Dallas after completing my undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal. I also interned at JP Morgan, where I built an auditing tool using MS Access, while owning the completed SDLC. Following my undergraduate degree, I worked at Visa as a software engineer where I worked on the Authorize.Net platform.
