• ∙ Lead the efforts of building the Compass Gateway Service. Compass Gatekeeper Service, is a gateway service that would be responsible for authentication, authorization, and forwarding (proxying) of requests to the Compass API Server (CAS). Additionally, it provides functionalities for management of accounts, users and quotas, besides the native functionalities of API Gateway (Kong G/W in this case). Compass API Server, is a resource manager, which exposes relevant REST APIs for creating, managing and destroying resources like mediaflow, asset, testsink and so on.
• ∙ Design scalable application (Cloud Media Pipeline) that scales to the needs of Enterprise Customers like Sinclair
• ∙ Develop in a way that the solution is fault tolerant as well so that it can withstand AZ and regional failures
• ∙ Understand and build cloud-based workflow solutions as per the needs of the broadcasters (Sinclair) in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
• ∙ Integrate the workflow solutions in a way that optimize the use of cloud resources, which in turn brings down the total deployment cost
• ∙ Interact with the customers on a regular basis to understand their new requirements/current challenges and inculcate the same as part of the product to address them.
• ∙ Most of the new requirements that have been captured from the Customer (online as well s by visiting the stations) have been collected and have translated to new product requirements which in turn as helped our product become better
• ∙ Collaborating with multiple teams has been seamless, leading to my deeper understanding of our product compared to a few quarters ago. Serving as the initial engineering point of contact in client-facing roles has provided invaluable insight into customer challenges, which we engineers may sometimes overlook. This first-hand experience enhances empathy and ensures that customer needs remain at the forefront of our engineering efforts.

• ∙ Architected, developed & launched CLOUDPORTXpress on AWS : Amagi CLOUDPORTXpress is a cloud-based channel playout platform that enables both broadcast TV and streaming TV networks to launch and manage broadcast-grade linear channels on a 'Pay-as-you-go' model. The Product is live on AWS Marketplace and is available for subscription
• ∙ Worked on and addressed the problem of IP Discoverability on EKS for our Streaming applications by leveraging the concept of initContainers on k8s.

• ∙ Migrated the Cloudport Monitoring application from Ubuntu 14 to Ubuntu 20 to address the security vulnerabilities, and added Multi Architecture Support to the Monitoring Docker Image (to leverage the cost efficiency of arm64 instances), along with CI/CD Integration with AWS CodeBuild and AWS CodePipeline
• ∙ Added Multi Architecture Support to the Amagi Cloudport Docker Image (to leverage the cost efficiency of deployment on Graviton instances), along with CI/CD Integration with AWS CodeBuild and AWS CodePipeline
• ∙ Responsible for migration of Cloudport Metastore Product to k8s.
• ∙ Developed fully managed Multitenant Cloudport Deployment System (CP Provisioner) that interacts with various components like CP-Automation, CP-Playout, and various AWS Media services like MediaConnect, MediaLive, and MediaStore during the deployment process
