• Coinswitch is a crypto investment platform for retail users. It has 20 million users. I worked as a backend engineer building the core components of trade and order management.
• Lead a team of 6 engineers to build the first version of the crypto exchange that is used by institutions for crypto trading. It is built using Go & Microservices architecture. It supports throughput of 50,000 RPM. Users can interact with the system using Restful apis, FIX apis and Websockets.
• Responsible for design decisions, code quality and timely deliverables of above mentioned system.
• Currently, leading the team to scale up the system to 10x while making the system more observable, reliable and recoverable.
• Designed and developed the first version of Order Management System that talks to 3rd party exchanges. It is built using Go & AWS Lambda functions.

• Quepinch(https://quepinch.com/profile/anunaya) is a content creation & social media platform. It currently supports creating rich-text blogs, sharing images and auto-evaluated programming questions.
• Single-handedly designed & implemented the entire backend services, database schema, deployments on AWS stack. The platform has 20,000+ registered users. 30,000+ uploaded images.
• Wrote 150+ api endpoints(RESTful) that serve data to mobile & web app.
• Integrated a code-execution engine that helps users to write & execute code in C++ & Python. The engine was exposed as a web service using Docker containers.
• Multiple optimizations for better UX & cost savings. Eg. optimized image rendering by storing smaller sized versions of uploaded user images. Rendering time reduced by 80%. AWS data cost reduced by 60%.
• Used Nginx, Gunicorn(app server for Python web apps), Redis, Celery(async task queue). The services were managed using ‘systemd’ service manager on AWS infrastructure.

• I worked as a Data Engineer building data pipelines, web services & using in-house tools to collect and
• transform data. My team used HDFS, Spark, Java and Scala to build the system.
• For a retail product, we needed metrics like Daily Active Users, Engagement Funnels etc. We used an in-house tool to ingest user analytics data into HDFS and then into a relational DB. I configured the system as per the requirement and wrote Java transformers to filter and aggregate the data.
• My (2 member) team was tasked to generate a list of high-net-worth individuals. We used an in house tool to collect data(public data about wealthy individuals) from multiple vendors and store it in HDFS. I wrote Scala transformers to refine the data which was then fed to an Entity Resolution engine.

• At Snapdeal, I am part of the technology team that builds Snapdeal's C2C marketplace Shopo. My contributions are -
• I single -handedly implemented the backend system for building 'Feeds' feature in the mobile app. Feeds is a critical feature driving user engagement for Shopo. The activities performed by a user such as creating a 'time-bound sale' on a product, are spread across his network of Shopo users through feeds.
• I build restful APIs for other sub-systems to consume. I am also responsible for scaling up the system as the traffic grows. I have been part of various phases of SDLC ranging from architecture design to code deployment.
• I also contributed to developing internal web application that enabled the sales and customer care teams to perform activities such as moderating products, managing orders etc. Only authorized uses with specific roles were allowed to perfom these actions. I added new features to the application based on business requirements.
