About

I'm a Data Science and Machine Learning enthusiast currently studying at IIT Mandi. My journey began with building mobile apps completing over 35 projects as a freelancer which gave me a strong foundation in software development and product thinking. Over time, my interests naturally evolved toward AI and its potential to create meaningful impact. I’ve contributed to open-source through Google Summer of Code (2022) and Google Code-in (2019), and now focus on building AI-first products using Generative AI, LLMs, and applied machine learning. My current work revolves around applying AI to real-world problems in education, healthcare, and productivity combining technical depth with a product mindset to ship things that matter. Always up for meaningful collaborations or conversations around AI, product, and building for the future.

Google Summer of Code

  • In 2022, I was selected for Google Summer of Code to work with Freifunk on Meshenger, a true P2P phone app for voice and video calls without internet or SIM cards. During this project, I redesigned the app in Figma, enhanced its features, and restored call functionality. Additionally, I converted the entire codebase from Java to Kotlin, improving performance and maintainability.

  • I had the incredible opportunity to participate in Google Code-in with the OpenMRS organization. During this period, I enthusiastically completed 17 tasks, delving deep into various aspects of open-source contribution. This experience marked my inaugural journey into the realm of open source, where I gained invaluable insights into medical record systems, honed my Java skills, delved into FHIR standards, and even explored the art of designing posters and infographics. Being recognized as one of the finalists was truly gratifying and further fueled my passion for contributing to meaningful projects within the open-source community.
