As a Software Development Engineer - 2 at Amazon, I am passionate about building scalable and reliable systems which has served millions of customers worldwide. I have 5+ years of experience in developing software solutions. I have contributed to the development of the installment payments infrastructure for Amazon, which launched in multiple EU marketplaces and expanded to North America. Then I was part of Amazon Hub Org building / expanding the tech for the Last Mile Deliveries in North America, Europe and Asia, saving transportation costs. Currently working in the selling partner promotions org to build tech stack for creating/managing promotions worldwide for third party sellers. I graduated with a BE degree from NSIT in 2019, where I honed my skills in data structures, algorithms, and programming languages. I also participated in several coding competitions and hackathons, securing state ranks in the Digital India Hackathon and the International Olympiad of Science and Mathematics. Impact: All the customers who wants to place an order using installments will be served through these pages.
2. Purchase Summary page (FR, IT, Spain, Germany, UK)
Status: Live in Production EU Region (To see in action - Use Amazon EU Checkout Exp)
Developed a widget using Java based architecture (backend + frontend) to render all the selected Installment option calculations to the customers.
Impact: Daily serving millions of customers in Europe and the widget developed was generic which was later on used by other teams in Amazon as well to display their respective product details
3. Amazon Germany - Thankyou Page
Status: Live in Production. (To see in action - Place an order on Amazon Germany)
Tech Design: High Level & Low Level Design
Implementation: Developed the End to End Thankyou page (Backend and Frontend) for the Installments Product to contain the KYC scenario which was legal mandate in Germany.
Impact: Without the option of KYC options given to the customer, Installments were not allowed to launch in the country, therefore after the development of the Page it was succesfully launched and has served millions of customers since then.
4. Amazon - Installment Product Visibility
Status: Live in Prdouction (To see in Action use Amazon FR, Spain Checkout Exp)
Design: High Level and Low Level
Implementation: Developed the widget using Perl / Mason in Frontend and Java based architecture in backend.
Impact: Increased the visibility of the installment products to the customers for them to easily avail the loan
