  • Worked as a senior engineer for Asynchronous and Synchronous Replication solution provided by Nutanix Disaster Recovery(DR) team.
  • Projects:
  • 1. Worked on designing and implementing a synchronous replication solution data protection/disaster recovery solution for Volume Groups with challenges of no application downtime (near 0 RTO) during disasters via automated failovers to support use-cases like guest clustering for high availability of user workloads running across clusters.
  • 2. Worked on an internal transition of Volume Group management from existing non-scalable legacy service to a new scalable and better manageable service to address challenges of scale and efficiency seen internally and externally with increased consumption of VGs.
  • 3. Worked on designing a scalable and more performant snapshot mechanism for data replication.

  • Worked in Nutanix's Distributed File System Disaster Recovery (DR) team and delivered a new protocol for asynchronous replication data protection solution. The solution offered 60 minutes RPO (the maximum amount of data a customer is willing to lose) and RTO (the time allowed to restore operations when IT failure occurs, and the cost) of few minutes. The new protocol is ~60% more performant than legacy asynchronous replication solution and helped customers to replicate more data in less time, helping to keep them within their SLA’s to the business thereby reducing risk.
