About

I’m currently a Research Assistant at University of Göttingen. Previously I’ve been a Pre-Doctoral fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. I majored in Mathematics from IISER Kolkata, complemented with a minor in Computational and Data Sciences where I enjoyed learning about Statistics through courses like Statistical Inference and Linear Models. My interest in this field grew further when I attended the Amazon ML Summer School which led me to do my MS Thesis on Variational Inference. I gained significant practical experience in quantitative analysis and machine learning while interning at MPI, Skit AI, IIM-B, JPMC and Stellar Alpha (now Greenland Investment). Joining IIT Bombay as a Pre-Doctoral student broadened my knowledge in areas like Operating Systems, Microprocessors, and Computer Networks while continuing my research in Statistical Machine Learning. I have decent experience in C++, Python and Problem Solving. Next stop: PhD? Probably.
