• Team Ad Exchange - It is responsible for building a platform that enables advertisers and publishers to buy and sell impressions through real-time auctions.
• Ad Exchange Platform – Worked on development of a highly scalable Ad Exchange platform with special focus on banner and native ads. Major efforts were put into meeting the stringent latency requirements of 200 ms per request at a scale of 50,000 QPS. Also worked on making the platform highly customisable, so that new bidders and publishers can be onboarded quickly.
• Bidder Throttling System – Designed and developed a scalable system to throttle poorly performing bidders in real-time auction. Devised heuristic algorithms to calculate throttling rate by analysing historical data of bidders.
