About

I always thought my dream was to be a Finance professional working in a big bank, accounting, and doing Audits. It seemed like an appropriate dream given my graduation in Commerce and a topper in Accounts. I gravitated toward Accounting, Costing, and Taxation and even worked in the domain for almost 4.5 years. But I kind of just felt meh. I yearned to learn more, yearned to learn something different. So, I decided to change my domain to Wealth Management, which meant starting from scratch, but I was ready for it and started my journey of managing HNI's wealth, exploring how sales of Investment products work. While I was enjoying this, there was still something missing and I came across the Wealth Management Apps(read: Robo Advisory). It got me curious and I slowly started researching it. And that's when it happened; the spark I was missing ignited the instant I got exposed to the Tech space. I think the 'Fin' in me was searching for 'Tech' (pun intended). Since then, I can't get enough. Product management calls to all my passions; it incorporates creativity, customer empathy, and problem-solving and I'm also allowed to run experiments to improve the metrics. I love solving customer problems and being the user's voice in the room. Also, watching my wireframes go live and look amazing is oddly satisfying for me. I'm enthusiastically grabbing onto any frameworks or principles that I can integrate into the problem-solving web in my head.
