Left my full-time job in 2019 with an international non-profit to setup a creative agency for nonprofits and conserve oral traditions from the Bhojpuri region. The aim is to capture and communicate stories for a cause because when told with heart, storytelling can help organisations amplify their impact. Speaker at 2018 Bangalore Literature Festival for my work on conservation of folk music and its connection with indentured migration. Winner of the Best Music Documentary Award at The Royal Anthropological Institute Film Festival, 2021 in United Kingdom for my feature length documentary film 'In Search of Bidesia'.
