A clueless engineer, who never wanted to be dealing with machines as a Fresher. Lands up a Job into Recruitment while still having backlogs. Just a year into Recruitment, he used to jugaad his way out & wrap his work quite early. Left with loads of free time, the notorious fresh grad starts disturbing his colleagues. Manager kept on warning him to not do so. But he never paid heed & one fine day, manager asked him to quit. The jugaadu engineer then, turned the tables & started playing a dual role of a Recruiter + trainer, to effectively use his free time. Around 2015, the engineer's soul gets resurrected with the buzz of ML world around him. He decides to put his engineering brains to play by trying to learn NLP, numpy, scipy to build resume a parser & reviews thousands of Resumes to understand their pattern. He gave up on coding, coz bugs really bugged him. But then, he started implementing his data concepts from data science into sourcing & that's when a new methodology of sourcing evolved, BigData Concepts in Sourcing. And finally, he found his calling & started teaching these concepts to tons of Recruiters. More the recruiters he trained, the more confident he got on his approach. In 2020, he turned from an engineer to a Monk, launching RecruitingMonk. A brand which is synonymous to, empowering recruiters. The engineer turned monk has trained 10,000+ Recruiters across top brands ranging from Products, services, agencies, GCCs etc. Today, the Monk trains recruiters/TA leaders & also trains machines to solve tech recruiting challenges.
