• Designed and developed interactive Power BI dashboard using Power Query Editor for data transformation and cleansing, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
• Designed a star schema data model, linking fact and dimension tables to enable seamless drill- down across time, product categories, and business verticals.
• Developed advanced DAX measures to compute dynamic KPIs, including YTD trends, budget vs actuals, growth percentages, and category-level contribution analysis.
• Implemented a dynamic sales adjustment slicer allowing users to increase/decrease sales by a percentage; used this input to calculate updated sales, actual variance, and adjusted variance based on total budget volume vs sales volume.
• Enabled interactive report behavior with toggle switch (value vs volume) using bookmarks, selection panes, and visual-level filters, improving usability for business stakeholders.
• Optimized report performance through query folding, data type normalization, and efficient DAX, ensuring smooth user experience even with large datasets.
