About

Built BluSmart, India's largest vertically integrated EV RideHailing service and EV Charging Infrastructure network, with over 6 years of experience in the clean mobility sector and 10 years of experience in the clean energy sector. I am passionate about decarbonising mobility at scale and creating positive social and environmental impact. I was awarded Honorary Doctorate (Dr.) in Business Administration by my alma mater – Aston University for contributions to the electric mobility and clean energy sectors. At BluSmart, we have raised US$100M in equity growth capital, completed 25 million all-electric trips, covered 850M electric kms, and built a loyal customer base of 5 million BluSmart app users, who rate us 4.9/5 on android and iOS. We have also won several prestigious awards, such as the “Young Turk Startup of the Year” at the CNBC-TV18 India Business Leader Awards 2023, LinkedIn Startup of the Year for three consecutive years (Ranked #2 in 2023, Ranked #10 in 2022 and Ranked #16 in 2021), and I was awarded the “India-UK 75 at 75 Achievers” award by the UK Govt., British Council and NISAU UK. In addition to BluSmart, I am an Unreasonable Fellow, a Honorary Doctorate Dr. in Business Administration (DBA) from Aston University, UK, and a TEDx Speaker. I am also an alumnus of Sydenham, LSE, Aston University, and Harvard Business School, and a former chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry Core Group on “Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS)”. I have been recognized as one of the “40 under 40 Top Business Leaders” and one of the “100 Most Powerful Leaders” in the solar energy industry in India, for my previous ventures in solar power generation and solar panels manufacturing. I have 10 years experience in the clean energy space – manufacturing solar panels and building solar power plants and 6+ years of experience in the electric mobility space.

  • I’m a 3x Founder who has built and scaled ventures at the intersection of climate, electric mobility, clean energy, energy infrastructure, and consumer ecosystems: raising over $300M in growth capital and taking businesses from idea stage to $100M ARR.
  • I’m currently in exploration mode, refining my thesis for the next big venture with a focus on high-impact, scalable models.
  • If you’re building a consumer-first, climate-tech, clean mobility, clean energy, or energy-infra business, I’d love to connect: whether to exchange ideas, collaborate, or explore opportunities to create large-scale impact.
