A TEDx event is a local gathering where live TED-like talks and videos previously
recorded at TED conferences are shared with the community. TEDx events are
fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community
basis. The content and design of each TEDx event is unique and developed
independently, but all of them have features in common.
Role- To lead a team of 43 students to organize a TEDx event, curate the talks of
6 speakers and to host the event as the master of the ceremony.
Objective-To inculcate creative thinking, critical analysis and organizational skills
in juniors and peers.
Challenge- Conservative and mediocre attitude of college staffs.
Outcome- We received an NPS rating of 97/100 by our attendees and many of
our team members secured internships in multi-national corporations and found
startups with the help of the experience and creative thinking methods we used
during our event. Now TEDx has been officially approved as an annual event
which is a legacy that for the future batches to follow.

We were challenged to get at least 600 entries for the college event which had no prior reputation to build on. It involved leading a team of 60 first year volunteers to design a strategy to get students to participate in the event which was being held during the packed schedule of end semester.
My team faced all these challenges with great spirit ,recording over 883 entries and had 1200 students to participate in the technical event.
