About

Even though I did my graduation in Computer Science from IIT Guwahati, textbook computer science has never interested me. Developing practical, real world solutions with technology which can either impact my surroundings for better or empower millions of people to have a higher living standard has excited me the most. During my internships, I have gained industry experience in developing end to end solutions. I am a constant learner continuously striving to stay upto date with the forefront technologies. I am always keen to take up larger responsibilities and stay committed to fulfil them. I strongly believe in ownership and like-mindedness of a team in developing world class products. As Head of Engineering at NxtWave, I am responsible for building the learning portal for the NxtWave's learners along with several other initiatives the company takes up. My technical expertise lies in designing, structuring and developing modular reusable applications at the backend, building low level backend frameworks to standardise code and eliminate redundancy, backend web frameworks like Django, Amazon Web Services, removing technical impediments and product planning.
