• As VP of Platform Engineering at Dream11, I lead a 100+ people team across Developer Experience, Observability, DevOps, FinOps, and Authentication — building the foundational infrastructure that powers the world’s largest fantasy sports platform. We’ve built an internal developer platform that abstracts away the mess of infrastructure, enabling 400+ developers to build and ship software quickly, reliably, and autonomously. Dream11 operates at massive scale — 15M+ concurrent users and 500M+ requests per minute during peak — and my team ensures the platform stays elastic, observable, secure, and cost-efficient.
• My work spans three key charters:
• 🔧 Builder’s Experience – We make building and deploying software efficient, intuitive, and resilient. From bootstrapping new services to deploying and updating them at scale, our internal developer platform enables over 400 engineers to ship faster with confidence.
• 🛠️ Operator’s Experience – We streamline the way services are observed and operated. Our teams build tools for telemetry (metrics, traces, logs), cost insights, and operational automation (monitoring, scaling, alerting), enabling reliability at Dream11’s scale.
• 🌐 API, Communication & Experimentation Platform – We enable the platformization of APIs and compliant, scalable communication. This includes building and operating our API gateway, user management and auth systems, communication platform, cohorting, and experimentation capabilities — all while upholding API and data security standards.
• Beyond engineering, I also contribute to AOP planning, vendor negotiations, and actively contribute to Dream11’s tech branding by driving open-source initiatives, sharing our learnings at conferences, and engaging with the broader engineering community — all with the goal of giving back and helping others scale with the lessons we've learned.

• Conceptualised, developed and delivered the product from concept stage to a refined scalable product.
• Developed and deployed multi user chat (over XMPP).

• Our aim was to convert Housing from a search based portal to a discovery based portal. In order to achieve this we worked on different verticals to provide a personal assistant to the user. Primary focus was on :
• User profiling and relevance
• Re-engagement and Recommendations
• Architected and led a service called 'Raven' which profiled users according to their actions and provided them with relevant content.
• Conceptualised and delivered a service which provided real time re-engagement via push notifications, mails and sms based on rules.
• Provided panel for product managers to put rules on re-engagement triggers so as to automate the process.

• Frontend and UI Development:
• Responsible for development, management , tracking and maintaining various products on the web/mobile website for the company.
• Implemented polygon search on frontend to provide better search experiences for our users.
• Also responsible for taking the technical interviews for hiring the frontend developers.

• Played key role in setting up a VR team of driven designers, and developers, working with them through continuous innovation.
