Let me take you through an interesting 2-min journey of my life! Born and brought up in Jaipur, Science and Math always intrigued me. So, I decided to do engineering. Despite scoring 90+% in 10th & 12th, I barely managed to get into one of the top IIITs in India. Learned the importance of smart work, discipline, time management early in my life. Decided to give my best in IIIT Kota (ECE Branch) and became the Gold Medalist of my branch. However, I realized, engineering doesn't intrigue me anymore so decided to go into management. Planning & strategy come naturally to me so I made a backup plan if I failed to pass my CAT first attempt. I took a calculated risk with patience. Didn't apply to any company coming to recruit software engineers. Applied to just one company, cracked it (the only one from the entire campus) & my life changed. Learned operations, logistics, data analysis, sales, product, team management, and about food tech industry. Led a team of 10 that managed a delivery partner fleet of 2k+ in Jaipur. Proud to say that I spearheaded Zomato's acquisition of UberEats in Jodhpur & revitalized operations in Jaipur affected by Covid 19. I am a patient guy with ambitious dreams and so this time I planned strategically to crack CAT. Just prepared for 2.5 months and scored close to the 99 percentile on my second attempt. Now, I help students with CAT preparation strategy on Topmate & Quora. Got into MDI Gurgaon (Top 10 B-schools in India) and thought of pursuing product management. Cracked the interview of the best company in summer placements. Learned product management, market research, survey techniques, benchmarking, wireframing, etc in Sprinklr. Unluckily didn't get a PPO. In search of a big brand, cracked Flipkart's interview and started my management trainee stint as a marketplace analytics manager and eventually a category manager. Learned business development, data analytics, team management, strategy, and leadership. Currently working as a Category Growth Manager in the Home Improvement Tools Category (Very exciting role, DM to know in detail). Personally, I am a food influencer/content creator (Go by @thehungrybatman on Insta, Youtube, Moj, 2mn+ Google impressions), Guitar player ('Sur ke sang' channel on YouTube, Cleared Grade 2 exam by Trinity College of London), OTT consumer (DM for a fun chat), and a Quora Influencer (2M+ content views).
