As a data scientist at ABB, I am part of the team that develops and delivers end-to-end data science solutions for key problems in the paper, oil and gas, and chemical industries. Using my expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and anomaly detection, I have contributed to the ABB Ability Genix Industrial AI Suite, a platform that enables customers to optimize their operations, reduce costs, and enhance safety and reliability. Some of my achievements include: Implementing predictive maintenance, incipient fault detection, and optimization models for various assets and systems. Packaging AI solutions as web services and integrating them into value apps in the ABB Ability Genix Suite. Participating in the ABB+Google Hackathon 2023 and securing the runner-up position with a novel solution for paper quality prediction. I am also passionate about mentoring and teaching data science students and freshers, and helping them prepare for their future careers. I have conducted over 150 one-on-one sessions on platforms such as Great Learning and Topmate.io, where I provide guidance and support on mock interviews, resume preparation, and job/internship hunt. Additionally, I lead sessions for college students who are interested in entering the field of data science, and share my insights and experiences with them. I hold a Master of Technology degree in Computer Science from National Institute of Technology Puducherry, where I completed several projects on data science, machine learning, and deep learning. I also have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from P.E.S. Modern College of Engineering. My goal is to make data science easier and more accessible for everyone, and to leverage my skills and knowledge to create value and impact for the industries and the society.
