• With motive of adding features to existing Automatic Guided Vehicle(AGV) for better performance, project dealt with implementation of stereo-vision based grasping of object and, inverse kinematics modeling for serial robotic manipulator using support vector regression and kohenon self organizing map.

• In the project, focussed on the basic concepts of computer vision and
• presented a rational study of object tracking with stress on its related fields like object representation, feature selection, object detection and tracking.
• The tracking process was further extended to real-time face detection and tracking.The tracking procedures were mainly based on background subtraction, color differences and edge-contouring techniques. All the related coding was performed on OpenCV 3.0 platform in Ubuntu and corresponding results were obtained.
