Anas Khan — CEO
Hi, I’m Anas Khan, a backend and applied AI engineer driven by curiosity, community, and impact. Currently contributing to Google DeepMind through Google Summer of Code 2025, I’m focused on evaluating and benchmarking multimodal LLMs like Gemini and Gemma for open-source coding tasks. At HackerRank, I build scalable AI-driven systems, from RAG-based developer onboarding tools to secure Slackbots and distributed web crawlers. Previously, I’ve worked with amazing teams at FamPay (YC S19), General Mills, Frappe Technologies, and FileSure, contributing across Python, Go, and Ruby backends, with an emphasis on performance, developer experience, and compliance. A 5× hackathon winner, I’ve led teams from idea to MVP with a deep passion for building products that are good for devs and even better for users. I’m also an active Open Source contributor and volunteer with organisations like FOSS United. I regularly engage in DevRel work to spread awareness about Linux, AOSP, developer tooling, and digital wellness. If you’re building something cool, exploring research, or just want to jam about LLMs, backend systems, or hackathons, I’d love to connect. Feel free to reach out if you’re looking for a referral, whether it’s at a company I’m currently with or one I’ve previously worked at. Always happy to help.
