Designed a semantic structure, called Narrative Graph, to hold information extracted from videos and generate text narratives.
Curated a specialized dataset of Narrative Graphs from YouCook2 by implementing Semantic Role Labeling and Coreferencing techniques.
Utilized pre-trained LLMs (T5 and BART) from Hugging Face to generate text narratives by transforming the problem into a machine translation task and employing linearized graphical representations of the narrative graph as input.
The thesis was in collaboration with NEC Japan.
