In 2020, this work is being used to fight COVID-19 by the biggest medicine library in the world, NIH. The scientists at NIH Maryland have cited this paper multiple times in order to detect Covid-19 by feeding an AI images of chest x-rays of potential patients.
In this work we implemented Deep Learning techniques to detect Tuberculosis in Chest X-rays with 95% accuracy.
The model was written in PyTorch, Python. The dataset was made using MATLAB and MS Excel.
I first authored a paper based on this research. This paper got accepted at BIBM 2018, Barcelona.
