About

Working in Front Office Tech department for the bonds team at D. E. Shaw. In my role as a Lead, Tech (SDE-3), I am responsible for building tech solutions that streamline the task of bond traders. Tech stack: Python, React, Java, Kafka Apart from technical designs and solutions, I am also involved in product ideation and feature formulation. I work closely with the users since the feature generation and ideation phase all the way to its development and maintenance. So I am involved throughout the lifecycle of the product. I graduated with a B.Tech in Computer Engineering from VJTI in 2021, where I participated in multiple coding events and won several prizes. I also completed several online courses on Neural Networks and Deep Learning from deeplearning.ai. I have experience working as a SDE intern at Samsung R&D Bangalore on a deep-learning NLP project and as a Research Intern at IIIT-Allahabad on ML models. Looking forward to apply my skills and knowledge to solve real-world problems and create value for the businesses and the users.

Core developer for a new platform for bond traders that provides one-stop solution for real-time bond analytics, market tracking and trading.
On-boarded 2 new businesses: Liquidity Provisioning which scaled the Liquid Credit Trading orders by ~10x & Primary Issuance which reduced the analysis time of traders for "New Issue" bonds by ~50%.
Designed & developed a Kafka stream app for granular portfolio exposures and hedge suggestions. This reduced the wait time to trade hedges from EOD to real-time leading to increased PnL.
