About

Hey there! My name is Jeroen and I'm a frontend engineer with almost 15 years professional experience. After working at various companies and immensely enjoying teaching my colleagues, I decided it was time for a change. I wanted to have a bigger impact than on just a relatively small team around me, and being restricted by a limited amount I could spend on teaching. I wanted to teach all of you, as much as possible! Since July 2023 I've become a fulltime frontend educator, with a goal to create the best frontend content out there. I want to make the content that I wish was out there — using modern, but also real world and production ready code. I'm convinced that the way I write frontend is vastly different from what many others do, and I'm committed to teach you this craft as well. At Frontend FYI, I offer a diverse range of resources, including free educational content on YouTube and premium, in-depth courses on frontend.fyi. These premium courses are part of my PRO plan, which is a one-time purchase only that brings you lifetime new content. I think subscriptions are annoying. This is only the beginning of so many great ideas I still have. Make sure to follow me here, on YouTube and subscribe to my newsletter to stay up to date on all the great things to come. Teaching you the craft of frontend, Jeroen.
